Banana and Peanut butter Chocolate Chip Blondies

 

 

We all love banana’s, peanuts & choccie right? We all love the occasional cake/ flapjack/ cookie..right??  What if i told you these are sugar free, fat free and High protein?! All made with natural sweetness and love, by the beautiful hazel @thefoodmedic. Deserts are back on the menu folks!

Makes 9-12 blondies

Ingredients

  • 2 small ripe bananas, mashed
  • ¼ cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1 can of chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (25g) scoop of vanilla/caramel/toffee whey protein
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • ¼ cup agave nectar or honey
  • ¼ cup (40g) of dark chocolate chips

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 and grease/line an 8×8 baking pan.
  2. Combine all of the ingredients, except the chocolate chips in a food processor
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips and pour mixture into tray
  4. Bake for 15-20minutes or until toothpick comes out clean and edges are a tiny bit brown
  5. Cool on wire rack for 10-15 minutes before slicing
