Apple & Blackberry Protein Baked Oats
Here is a fantastic yet easy recipe put together by the amazing ProteinChef using some of our NWC Whey protein. Great for on the go snacks 🙂
40g Jumbo oats
1 Whole egg or 2 egg whites
100ml Milk (I used almond)
30g NWC Whey mixed berries flavour
1 Apple peeled and cooked (or use tinned)
100g Fresh blackberries
Preheat the oven to 180’c
Using sunflower or coconut oil grease a small, shallow oven safe dish.
Place the apple and half of the blackberries at the bottom of the dish like this
Whisk together the egg, milk and protein powder until smooth. Then add the oats and stir.
Pour the mixture over the fruit and top with the remaining blackberries, like this.
Bake for 25 minutes. It should be golden brown and bubbling, like this.
